A successful Free Health Check-up and Cancer Awareness Camp was organized at Dubrajpur Municipality with the support of Shri Anup Kumar Saha, MLA, Dubrajpur Constituency, in collaboration with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute, and as part of a CSR initiative of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
The camp focused on providing accessible healthcare services to the local community while promoting awareness about preventive healthcare, early detection, and the importance of timely medical consultation.
A total of 102 people received health check-ups during the camp.
The medical examinations conducted included:
- Pap Smear Test: 2 people
- ECG: 17 people
- Blood Sugar Test: 102 people
- Blood Pressure Check: 102 people
- Other essential health examinations
Promoting Cancer Awareness in Dubrajpur
Cancer awareness was an important part of the health camp. Community members were encouraged to understand the importance of health awareness, early identification of health concerns, and timely medical consultation.
The main objective of the initiative was to increase health awareness among the community, encourage people to identify health concerns at an early stage, and highlight the importance of seeking timely medical care.
